Job Title: Sales Manager – Erosion Control Division (Lake Lanier)
Location: Gainesville, GA (On-Site)

Job Overview:
We’re looking for a motivated Sales Manager to grow our Erosion Control Division. This role oversees the full sales cycle—from prospecting to project completion—while building strong customer and partner relationships.
Our division focuses on Rip Rap, Shoreline Steps, Walkways, Tree Removal, Dredging, and Shoreline Clean-ups. The right candidate is a proactive, organized self-starter who’s comfortable leading work both in the field and in the office.
You’ll spend about 2–3 days a week in the field performing shoreline assessments, preparing quotes, securing sales, and managing job follow-ups. In the office, you’ll handle permits, project setup, materials and equipment orders, and lead follow-up.
We prefer someone who’s just a short stroll or boat ride away - local talent; local impact is important.

Key Responsibilities:
Market Development
Grow Marine Specialties’ Erosion Control Division on Lake Lanier.
Build relationships with local realtors, developers, HOAs, marinas, and boat dealers.
Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategic sales programs.
Attend local partner events and industry trade shows.
Sales Execution
Conduct a minimum of 10 – 12 appointments per week with key decision makers.
Manage the sales pipeline from initial contact through deal closure and handoff to your operations team.
Coordinate with your teams and third-party vendors to ensure project success.
Build and track estimates in CRM and Excel.
Maintain weekly activity logs and provide updates to the Sales Director and General Manager during weekly one-on-one debriefs.
Project Oversight
Serve as a project lead for all sales in your division, ensuring coordination with operations, scheduling, permitting, ordering materials, and labor resources.
Monitor and communicate project timelines and updates with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
2–5 years of outside sales experience.
Erosion Control or Commercial Landscape Sales (preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Proven success in building customer and partner networks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Excel and CRM systems (e.g., ServiceTitan, NetSuite).
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Willingness to travel within assigned territories.
Compensation:
Competitive base salary, plus uncapped commission, performance-based incentives, and performance based quarterly bonus.
Work Environment and Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Rotating Saturday schedule, 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. (March–September)
Occasional travel to meet customers at various job sites or locations, sometimes outside of regular working hours
Must be physically able to walk on uneven terrain along the banks and shorelines of lake
